If you are looking at this product, you don't want to drill holes into your BMW. After looking in local auto parts stores and searching on line this looked like the best solution. I would suggest you make sure you look at the option package on your car before purchasing. It says it will not work with adaptive cruise control. I don't have it. I assume that it blocks a sensor needed for the adaptive cruise control. After looking at a over 20 options, I picked this and I am happy. I could have installed it myself but I am getting to old to lay on the ground trying to get at the screws needed. The local shop put it up on a lift where they could get at it easily and it took just a few minutes to install, labor charge to me was just under $11.
