We got this book for homeschooling, and usually you wouldn't expect a history book to be so detailed and have reviews, tons of questions, lots of detailed pictures, etc. This book has a lot of pages, in the 1000's. This book is very nice! Has a nice choice of maps in the back, detailed descriptions for each unit, chapter, and section, has a detailed sense of writing, has questions for each chapter, section, and unit. Pretty much the best history book out there! We are very excited to begin the school year. This was the first textbook out of 5 that arrived on time, actually 1 day before the estimated delivery. I'd recommend adding up how many days a school year you'll be doing, and then divide the number of pages to find out how many pages you should work on a day. We've decided 2 sections daily. This book is just plain out awesome, hands down. I recommend for anyone who homeschools. :) The awesome thing about this book is, for homeschoolers, you have a nice choice of questions to work on for each section! Very nice. It should be easy to work on yourself!
