I was pleasantly delighted (is that redundant?) by this CD. It’s worth every penny!In this CD, I believe his name is Bennett Cerf, takes a large ship from Florida to Puerto Rico, and gives a fantastic and detailed account of his interactions with the captain and crew.A personal favorite is when Bennett asks the bartender Isaac for a beverage recommendation. Isaac suggests his piña colada, as that seems to be a customer favorite. Bennett agrees, and is made his own personal colada. (For some reason, Isaac seems fascinated that Bennett likes the colada. Isaac then begins a series of questions about what *else* Mr. Cerf enjoys. Walks in the rain, and strangest of all, Isaac asks if Cerf enjoys copulating at a certain time. It’s weird, but very endearing.)As far as the cover? Well, I tried to read it but I have misplaced my cheaters. I think I might’ve left them at the Kroger. I need to hop in my sled and see if the helpful stock lads have put them in the Lost Yet Now Found bin. They’re not cheap! But as soon as I pick them up, I’ll read the cover. I believe it’s an art review, but I digress. Perhaps there was an exhibit on the Pacific Princess.In all, this is a delightfully entertaining travelogue from a brilliant man. It’s very relaxing. I’ve used it to help me fall asleep many times. So soothing. Perhaps your book group can enjoy the fun Bennett had all at the same time! That’d be a treat!I’m now going to shell out the bucks for Birdseed, which I assume is made for cats. You know, for when their owners are away on long trips. Oooh! Like a cruise!Love it!
