I’ve bought these extensions 8 times and every time I got a good pack of hair with good packaging too.For thickness and volume I use about 1.5 packs which are 75 I-tips.Color:I’ve used the dark brown extensions when my hair was brown and the color matched perfectly and now I use the dark black which also matches perfectly with my dyed hair.Pros:Super minimal shedding, easy to style with or without heat, soft, shiny, affordable, color matches really well with hair, and reusable if you take good care of them. I replace a few extensions here and there but most of them last 3-4 months. They would last longer if I took better care of them.Cons:Once in a while I get an extension with an I-tip too big for the bead (5mm bead) so I have to cut off a part of the I-tip to fit. Excessive heat styling and not protecting the hair while sleeping will wear the hair out super fast. This is 100% human hair but not all hair strands go in the same direction. Some of the hair strands are upside down so the hair cuticle is facing the wrong way. This isn’t noticeable at all but because some of the hair is in the wrong direction, the hair cuticles catch on each other causing severe tangling and matting if you don’t take care of the hair. It’s important to keep the cuticles closed. The advantage of buying more expensive extensions is all the hairs are facing the same direction which makes them tangle less. Less expensive extensions tend to be higher maintenance.Products I use are serum, and heat protectant. Before I wash the hair which I do once every 2 weeks I use a hair mask made of any conditioner and castor oil and I leave that on overnight. I wash my scalp once a week but I don’t get the extensions wet. I always rinse the hair with cold water which minimizes tangling and matting since the cold water keeps the cuticle from fraying.Tips:Before I install the extensions I wet them and then blow dry them. They get dented and flat in the packaging so doing that brings the volume back and takes the dents out. You can also do this step after installing since it might be easier putting them in them when they’re flat.To prevent severe tangling and matting take really good care of the hair. I brush gently and do heatless hairstyles most of the time. If I use heat I style at 300 Fahrenheit with heat protectant. Avoid hot water on the hair. Sometimes I'm lazy and sleep with my hair down but that’s really bad even when using a satin pillowcase.The hair is thick but thins out a bit toward the last couple of inches nothing major. I like the ends to be really full so I purchase hair 2 inches longer than the length I want. I cut those 2 inches off to thicken the bottom of the hair.Overall if you are looking to buy inexpensive hair extensions these are a good option. Just be prepared because I-tip extensions won’t make life more convenient they’re actually higher maintenance than clip ins, halos, and having no extensions but it’s worth it because they look good.
