So I opted for these mid-tier pliers because of the brand and the design. Not being new to these type of pliers, I know that the achilles heel of them is the cutters. They dull and chip. I just retired a very nice set of Hanson's because they went out of business, and there are no replacement cutters to be found. If the cutters are damaged, then the pliers are useless to me. So the ability to replace cutters was important for me. Of course that would not be a problem with these pliers if we could buy the cutters separately, or so I thought. The problem is that Cuda wants you to mail the pliers to them for service (which is their right I know), but I find it rather needless and burdensome to just replace the cutters, which can be done with a simple allen wrench. However after talking to one of the head people over at Cuda, and convincing him to sell me a spare set without having to go through the hassle of finding a box, filling out a form, taking it to the post office and maintaining 6ft. social distance, he agreed to mail me a set. Awesome. But not really. The cutters never arrived. I emailed them on a least 3 separate instances over several weeks, and no response. Nada. So now I'm experiencing buyers remorse in that I have to go through such a hassle to get them "serviced." There has to be a better way. Perhaps I should've gone with the Gerber brand? Now I'd be happy to update this rating if someone from Cuda would simply do what they said.
