I have long fine hair down to my bum and bought this product to increase the volume of my hair.The hair is soft, silky, shiny, and gorgeous. The texture was fine-medium and matched mine better than any other hair extensions I’ve had in the past. The color match was okay and could have been fixed with toner or purple shampoo as the extensions were much yellower than my hair. These extensions are nearly perfect. The length and weight of the hair was exactly what I was looking for to add volume. The string was barely visible while wearing. I was very sad to have to return them because the weft is too wide for my head. If the string was tightened to fit, it would make them a complete circle, making it impossible to disguise on the top my head/in the crown area. I could use a weft of about 10 inches wide and this one was several inches wider.I have been wearing the halo hair past 7 years.I'm 68 yrs old and my hair is very thin..So past 7 years i have bought about 35 hair extensions and never rated them.This one deserved the highest rating..Will be buying these all the time..This is a great value. I am pretty sure it’s real hair. I bought the 16” and got lucky with choosing the right color. I set my curling iron to low heat and curled the halo hair. It looks great. It’s a thin/fine amount of hair which works for me and looks natural because my hair is naturally thin/straight/fine. My natural hair is a couple inches past my shoulders, and I really wanted to see how I look with longer hair to determine if I should keep growing my hair out. Plus I wanted to take some pictures having it on. My only negative is that the weft makes my head itch. I may have to attach some felt to it to help prevent that. I attached a picture (with the Halo extension on me) for reference. I find that putting a hair accessory in helps to make it look like it’s all my real hair. I would say this is worth it if your hair is mid length and thin and fine, and you want to add some hair for fullness and length. I would not suggest this if your hair is short or if you have a bob or lob. Looks best if your natural hair is past your shoulders. You can always trim the halo hair (use thinning scissors), to adjust the length and make it blend better. Your hair dresser can help you cut and match it, if you need assistance with it. Worth trying! I like it!The hair itself was very soft and beautiful!The piece as a whole was very thin and didn’t come with clips to attach to your hair so it often slipped up and wasn’t securedI've bought some of the finest extensions in the past, and I was surprised that this is good quality hair. It's a beautiful color that will blend with many blondes--it's on the golden side rather than ashy (FYI). And it's thin enough for matching my hair (which can't take the big bushy halos). The downside is it's itchy. I would recommend, instead, a quality Topper by Jon Reneau if you have thin hair and want beautiful natural tresses--or a halo that doesn't itch like this one does. :)I received this product today and I am so happy with it. I have never bought extensions before so wasn't sure what to expect but I recently have lost a lot of hair due to thyroid medication and decided it was time to try out some extensions. It matches my hair color perfect and was very easy to put on. It's longer than my natural hair but in a pony with a hat, it's so fun! It doesn't itch at all which i was very concerned about. I won't be able to wear it completely down, it's just too thin but I'm happy wearing it with hats! I am so happy with this product.They are okay. I think mine need a bit tightening. I should have ordered in darker color since my hair is black and I ordered blonde and brown which does not blend with my hair. Quality is good and can wear them for a long time. Hair is good quality
