The baby hair was not as durable as the wigs hair. Did not seem prebleached and does not hold a curlat all. (You have to roll it!!) But it looks like African American hair, no smell , washes well, very little to no shedding so far and great color. I have alopecia and have to wear my hair 24/7. I sleep in a silk scarf or bonnet... but not all the time. Because I am uncomfortable sharing my hair loss secret with others, even my husband... no photos ever!I was able to reinstall this unit 3 times (The third time was the first time we had to cut back the edges) and I could do it again, but, I was really wanting a 360 lace like this wig, with this quality and I have sent 3 back because they did not compare. Hopefully the last one I ordered (I do not have it yet ) will be a keeper it cost more, but if NOT, I am going to reinstall my unit and purchase a new one, hopefully just like this. I have spent hundreds of dollars on wigs from Amazon and this was the best so far because it raised my expectations for quality and texture.
